2015 has been another fantastic year on court for us.

In recently writing to our sponsors, to thank them for their fantastic support, we came to realize that not only are we constantly heading to clubs and schools for our various programs, but that our High Performance and Advanced Players had breakout seasons.  We had Abbi Gibson playing no 3 for WA in the 12s (she is only 10) and Jack Hodgkinson headed to Miami, Florida inthe US for a term and played Eddie Hurr and Orange Bowl: two of the worlds biggest international junior events.

January was busy, with trips to the Hopman Cup.  Thanks to Sun City TA we were in touch with Lucie Safarova’s coach Rob Steckley and he organised our kids to get some photos and autographs.  Our kids had some time on centre court at Perth Arena and then after a massive day, we headed to the Airport to  Melbourne for our VIC and NSW Tours.0401b01a

Then its a few days at the Aussie Open where Head Coach David Kerr was lucky enough to meet Nick Bollettieri.

Back to Perth and down to Busselton for their Junior Open and then it is full on into Term 1 Tennis.

We then resurfaced our Rebounce Ace court ready for the year ahead!02

Term 1 flew by with trips to Esperance and about 11 schools had weekly tennis.

We then took a great group of kids away to Country Week and almost won the shield with our region finishing a very respectful 2nd.   Even our Head Coach had a bash and won a few teams matches and also made the Open Singles Semis.

We were lucky to have Pablo from TA down in Albany with us working with some of our 11s!

Then it was off to Bali for our Cardio Tennis Bali trip.  We joined Paul Oldfield from Bounce Getaways for daily Cardio sessions.  A great trip and we cant wait to do another one.

We had one athlete in the WA country Regional Talent Development tour who went to Tasmania for events- Jack had some very impressive results in singles and doubles.

We had heaps of schools throughout the year.

We coached again at the WA Country Kids Tennis Camp held at the State Tennis Centre.  A great camp with kids from all over WA.

We were also very happy to sign new 3 year contracts with Lawley Park and Merrifield Park Tennis Clubs.

Summer kicked off with some fantastic events and more clubs and schools.

Slater Cup was a great event for our crew with a handy 3rd palce finish – Nelson Stanborough made main draw semi finals which gives him a spot in the 13s CO untry WA Team (which he won the 3rd place play off) and Copper Childs won the Singles Conso!

Abbi Gibson was selected to represent WA and played in the Bruce Cup National event held in Tasmania.  She won all her singles matches as no 3 and only lost one main draw singles match to the no 1 seeded player.  A great result for a 10 year old who is on the rise.

Jack Hodgkinson headed to Inspiration Tennis Academy in Miami for a term of tennis – a big shift from 8hrs a week on court to about 30.  Was great to catch up with jack last week and see the improvement.  Jack also played main draw singles of both Orange Bowl and Eddie Herr which are two of the biggest International Junior Tennis events on the planet.

Back home we went to East Freo for their annual Summer Champs and then ran a very successful holiday camp.  Now its time to refresh and get ready for Melbourne next week for tournaments and then the Aussie Open.

2016 will be another big year – we are heading to the US in April to Tour California and attend various colleges and clubs.  Cant wait!
